Tour cost is based on double occupancy. Please see the deck plan for specific cabin costs. A single supplement is available at 150% of the double occupancy rate, in categories 2 to 6. This single supplement allows you to select ad book your cabin. Alternatively a guaranteed single can be requested, the cost for which depends o the season ad length of sailing. Cabins cannot be chosen for this rate, but will be assigned approximately two weeks before sailing. Inventory for both of these single rates is capacity controlled. Not included in the tour price are Port Charges of $355. Currently there is an additional fuel surcharge of $8 per day; this may vary by the time of travel. Tips are not included, and there is a 15% charge added to your bar bill. Domestic and International flights are additional, as are any nights before or after the cruise, transfers and additional meals. Star Clippers offers group air from many domestic cities for this cruise, and such air may have more restrictions than independently booked air. Upgrades and extra days are not available with the group air, but can be arranged at a higher airfare. Nature Travel Specialists are happy to look at all the air possibilities for this cruise and advise you accordingly. Please note that air fares, and even airlines, are currently going through a period of high volatility, and even a booked and paid for ticket does not guarantee travel at the times ticketed for, especially for periods further out. We strongly suggest a conservative approach, with well padded connection times and arrival into Athens the day prior to sailing.
A deposit of $500 per person is required to hold your place and select a cabin. Please see our Terms and Conditions for information about cancellation penalties and other relevant information. The Star Clipper holds a maximum of 170 guests in 85 cabins; she carries a crew of 72. This comfortable ship has four decks, with a total length of 360ft and a beam of 50ft. She has four masts carrying up to 16 sails. She was built to the highest standards; Lloyds 100A1, and is registered in Luxembourg.

Our
special price is based on a group of 10 passengers; should we not
achieve this group size the cost of the tour will increase, which
will be a maximum of $800 over our advertised price, but may be
less.
Our
cabins are outside, have private marble-lined bathrooms, and have
lower beds in twin or double configuration. All are air-conditioned
and have hair dryers, private safes, television with in-house video,
DVD player, telephone and other expected amenities. Electrical voltage
is 110. Star Clipper is in fact a large yacht, with tasteful brass
and teak fittings, and carries this outlook into the graceful open-seating
dining lounge with fireplace, and an Edwardian style library. Dress
is casual, and the captain’s daily briefings tend to story-telling
rather than a dry list of facts. Although the piano bar attracts
both crew and guests t o try their hand, most nights see local entertainers
brought on board to give you a true flavor of local culture.
